DO YOU HAVE MORE TO EAT THAN JUST SEAFOOD? - While you will find just about every type of seafood you can imagine, there is plenty of good ole American food as well.
WHAT OTHER TYPES OF VENDORS WILL I FIND? -- The Festival has more than 100 vendor booths with everything from arts and crafts to clothing, to gifts, to kid’s items and more. It is an interesting and eclectic mix of products and local businesses.
CAN I BRING MY OWN CHAIRS? Yes- feel free to bring a lawn char and sit and relax in the grass areas near our stages while you enjoy the music.
CAN I BRING MY OWN DRINKS? -- You may carry in one sealed bottle of water but in these times of insurance regulations and security concerns, No other drinks, coolers or large bags are allowed. You are supporting many local charities when you purchase our drinks.
CAN I BE DROPPED OFF BY A RIDE SHARE SERVICE SUCH AS UBER OF LYFT? We encourage ride shares and carpool, and we have a convenient drop off point near our entrance at the corner of 18th Ave and 6th Street adjacent to the Pompano Civic Center.
WHAT HAPPENS TO THE REVENUES FROM THE FESTIVAL? -- The Seafood Festival is a not-for-profit corporation. Revenues benefit a wide variety of charities and civic organizations. It is one of the things that make the festival so unique. This is a largely volunteer driven event. Groups like Pompano Beach High School, the Boy Scouts, Blanche Ely High School, Pompano Proud and civic groups like the Greater Pompano Beach Chamber of Commerce, Wahoo Bay, Women in Financial Services, Kiwanis, Rotary, Soroptimist, and others supply volunteers and benefit from the profits. Over the years hundreds of thousands of dollars have been raised for all these groups.
CAN I BRING MY PET? – Unfortunately, NO! Insurance regulations do not allow pets.
